I watched that entire idiotic show to see Michelle perform, and what does she do?  A routine with KITT the car and an audio clip mashup from Knight Rider.  Ackkkkk!

Here's one "insider's" take on the situation:

these are things i know for sure...
1) michelle was invited onto the show by the AGT producers.
2) she reworked her "princess" costume and routine to cover more area and take up less time.
3) after she passed the first round she pitched the idea of the knight rider routine but was told no.
4) she reworked the costume and the routine for her cute-as-a-button balloon number.
5) a week before the show the producers called to tell her she could do the knight rider routine after all.

these are things i'm guessing at...
1) the producers weren't expecting the fire storm of protest they got after her first performance.
2) they let her plug her classes in exchange for letting them cover their ***** by letting brandy and piers trash her.

I really think she should have done a more traditional routine, like Les Balloons.  Then again, she probably knew there was no way in hell she'd win.  Still, the show plugged her act and pimped her out more than any other act during the breaks -- they did two little interviews with her, and the second one was totally an ad for her burlesque classes and her burlesque career.  Kind of makes you wonder what kind of deals were being made behind the scenes.  Hopefully she made out a lot better there than she did in front of the camera.

If you're curious, video of her performance is on the AGT site.  Not her best performance, but I still think she's sexy as hell and cute as a button.  And her fiance Franky Vivid is a genius with the burlectro.

Based on the teasers and posts in their forum, it looks like Michelle L'amour is going to be on Wednesday's "America's Got Talent" for her semi-final round. I was afraid she got axed during one of those off-air weeding out sessions, but she was in the teaser so it's gotta be true, right?

I'm guessing she'll do her Les Balloons routine or a fan dance.  I doubt she'll win (by no fault of her own--America's Got Prudes), but they can't buzz her out this round so at least we'll get to see the whole routine.
